DSU Volleyball plays first home match at Fieldhouse tonight

The road-weary Dakota State University Volleyball team will play their first home match tonight at the DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans, with a 4-3 overall record, open their NSAA Conference schedule against powerhouse and #24 ranked Bellevue University.

A new crop of players looks to make an impact early in conference play for the Trojans. Coach Amy Veenhof says the depth of the team gives DSU more options to find the right match-ups.

Seniors Kaylee Spreier, Alwaise Villa, and transfer Barbara Briceno provide the leadership on and off the court. With the amount of depth on the Trojans this season, Veenhof says developing the freshman players comes in strides throughout the season.

The Trojans and Bruins square off tonight at the DSU Fieldhouse with first serve at 7pm. Bellevue was picked to finish 2nd in the NSAA Coaches Preseason poll.
