City approves Chamber and LAIC licenses for summer concert series

The Madison City Commission has approved temporary retail malt beverage and wine licenses for the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and Lake Area Improvement Corporation to use when the two groups hold a summer concert series in July and August.

The Chamber and LAIC will host “DownTown in MadTown” on three Tuesday evenings in July and three in August.  The nights will include a concert and other events for the family, starting at 6:00 and ending at 9:00 p.m.  The 100-block of North Egan Avenue in downtown Madison will be closed for the events.

The Chamber and LAIC have Annie Creek, LLC planning the event this year.
