Sheriff’s Office responds to weather-related incidents

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a few calls Monday as a result of the winter storm that moved through the area.  Sheriff Tim Walburg said that there was a vehicle that slid off the roadway on Highway 19, just south of 239th Street.  He said also that there were others on Highway 34 near 459th Avenue, and a vehicle in the roadway on 233rd Street and 460th Avenue where a driver could not see where he was at.  The South Dakota Highway Patrol also took some reports on Monday night and today as a result of the winter weather.
