Dakota State University’s Britley Plautz was chosen to the 2nd edition of the 2017-18 NSAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday. The Lady T’s received a memorable performance from the sophomore center in their 76-64 victory over Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday.
Plautz posted a triple double against the Coyotes with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. She also dished out 3 assists and stole the ball once in the win for Dakota State. Those 10 blocked shots are tied for 3rd most in a single game in the Lady T’s basketball record book.
After snapping their 3 game losing skid, Dakota State women’s basketball is back in action tonight at the DSU Fieldhouse against Trinity Bible College. The Lady T’s and Lions tip-off at 5:30pm with the men’s game to follow afterwards. DSU also faces Midland University on Saturday at home.
