Members of the Madison Central School Board have earned statewide recognition for their dedicated participation in activities, board development and training and demonstrated leadership at various areas and levels.
The Madison Central School Board earned a Bronze Level award for their participation in the Associated School Boards of South Dakota’s board recognition program: ALL, which stands for Act, Learn, Lead, and honors the work of school boards striving to enhance their knowledge base of board work.
By participating in Associated School Boards of South Dakota’s activities, training opportunities and demonstrating leadership at the local, state and national level, school boards accumulated points throughout the 2016-17 school year to achieve an award level.
Executive Director Wade Pogany said that the Madison Central School Board is committed to its students, parents, staff, and community.
The school board will be honored during its next regular meeting on Monday. A representative from the Associated School Boards will present the board with it’s ALL plaque.
Nearly one-third of all public school boards in the state earned an ALL award in this inaugural year of the program.
