The City of Madison and the Lake County Highway Department are going to be seal coating various streets in the city starting on Monday morning. Weather permitting, there are about 20 portions of streets in the south and northeast areas of the city that will be seal coated in the next week. Crews expect it to take approximately five days to complete all of the streets.
There is no particular order to which streets will be done first, but city officials are asking residents to watch for the road crews and make sure vehicles have been moved. If a vehicle is parked on any street that crews are ready to seal coat, the vehicle will be towed to another location.
