Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting Monday.

On the agenda for commissioners is a presentation and discussion of community survey results, and second reading of the city’s 2022 appropriations ordinance.

Commissioners are also scheduled to discuss and take action on a request for additional funds from the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.  They will also discuss and approve a facility plan updates agreement with Banner Associates, and discuss and approve increasing the number of volunteer firemen from 30 to 32.

An executive session for the purpose of consulting with legal counsel or reviewing communications from legal counsel about proposed or pending litigation or contractual matters is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.
