Madison City Commission meets Monday

The Madison City Commission meets for its regular meeting Monday.

Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the assessment roll for the city’s 2021 sidewalk improvement and repair projects, and also adopt resolutions for the levy for the projects.  The commission will also hold second reading of an ordinance regarding the discretionary formula, and adopt a resolution amending employee compensation for some exempt to non-exempt employees.  Also Monday, commissioners are scheduled to receive an update on the city’s water system improvement projects and an update on the city’s audit.

An executive session for contract negotiations is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall and is also accessible through Zoom.
