Electronic recycling drop-off is Saturday in Madison

Lake County residents with electronic items they want to get rid of can do so on Saturday at the county’s electronic recycling drop-off event.  

The drop off is held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Madison Recycling Center on Southwest 7th Street in Madison.  Some of the items accepted include laptops, cameras, cell phones, holiday lights, printers, televisions and radios.  They will not accept things like vacuums, microwaves, humidifiers, and crock pots.  

The free electronic recycling drop off is for residential items only.
