Lake County Commission meeting Tuesday

The Lake County Commission holds its regular meeting on Tuesday morning.  Commissioners have several appointments on their agenda for tomorrow.  Human Resource Specialist Shelli Gust will discuss personnel and volunteers with the commission, and Emergency Management Director Kody Keefer will present his first quarter report.  Treasurer Deb Walburg has three abatements for the commission’s consideration, and Sheriff Tim Walburg will discuss a patrol vehicle as surplus property.  The commission will also hear quarterly reports from Buildings and Grounds Superintendent Dave Hare and County Health Nurse Maria Haider.  Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson is scheduled to meet with commissioners for his department’s quarterly report, and also regarding a resolution establishing truck speed limits and seasonal load restrictions.  Nelson will also discuss equipment and a purchase request with the commission Tuesday.  

Mandi Anderson meets with county commissioners for Natural Resources regarding commercial solid waste hauler applications.  She will also meet with the commission at 10:00 Tuesday as the county’s Zoning Officer regarding two variances, a conditional use request, and a plat.   

The Lake County Commission meeting begins Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.  The meeting will also be accessible through the use of Zoom.
