Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular weekly meeting Monday. Commissioners are scheduled to discuss a professional services agreement with Houston Engineering, Incorporated regarding the design of 9th Street from Park Creek to Highland Avenue and Union Avenue north of 9th Street. The commission will also discuss a letter of contract for engineering services with Banner Associates for Park Creek walls.

Also on the agenda for commissioners Monday is an application for sale of alcoholic beverages for a convention center (on-sale) liquor license for the Madison Hospitality Group/Best Western Plus Lakeview.

An executive session is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting to discuss personnel and to consult with legal counsel about proposed or pending litigation or contractual matters.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall and through the use of Zoom.
