Lake County Commission meets Tuesday
The Lake County Commission has a number of items on its agenda for its regular meeting on Tuesday. Â
Lake County Commissioners will meet with County Equalization Director Rick Becker to discuss the County Board of Equalization schedule, and also with Deputy Auditor Crissy Longe regarding a postage meter lease agreement. Sheriff Tim Walburg will discuss a few items with commissioners Tuesday, including prisoner meals bids, Homeland Security grants, and a quote for faxing services. Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson will meet with the commission tomorrow to discuss the county’s bridge project and hold the bid discussion and awarding for 2022 seasonal bids, as well as the bids for AC Mat Construction, fuel, and the weed spray contract. Â
An executive session to discuss personnel, proposed and pending litigation, and contractual matters is also scheduled for Tuesday’s meeting. Â
The Lake County Commission will also recognize National County Government Month and hold school tours from 11:30 until 2:30 on Tuesday. Â
