Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting Monday.

On the agenda for the commission is an application for a retail (on-off sale) malt beverage and South Dakota Farm Wine license for MNK, LLC/ The Beauty Bar, and the consideration of selling city property north of the horseshoe pit at Westside Park.

Commissioners will also authorize the mayor to sign a grant pre-application with the FAA for an airport project, and an agreement with Open Access Technology International for webSmartEnergy Service.  The commission is also scheduled to consider the city’s sidewalk committee’s recommendations for the 2021 sidewalk improvement project, and discuss concrete work at the Madison Municipal Utilities building. 

An executive session for personnel is scheduled for the end of Monday’s city commission meeting, followed by the consideration of a personnel matter from the executive session. 

The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall and virtually through the use of Zoom.
