The Lake County Commission is holding its regular meeting on Tuesday morning.  

Commissioners are scheduled to hear from Sheriff Tim Walburg regarding the prisoner meal bid awarding, an agreement to house adult prisoners at the Codington County Detention Center, and personnel.  Commissioners will also discuss personnel with 911 Communications Director April Denholm, and personnel and election information with Auditor Bobbi Janke .  

County Equalization Director Rick Becker will take his oath of office during tomorrow morning’s commission meeting and give commissioners information about the Board of Equalization schedule.  

Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson is on the commission’s agenda with a number of different items for discussion.  

Commissioners Kelli Wollmann and Aaron Johnson, along with Commission Administrative Officer Shelli Gust are also scheduled to provide an update on the county’s COVID-19 response and have items for ratification, including the first amended plan for continuity of county operations and Lake County’s temporary leave policy.  

The Lake County Commission meeting begins Tuesday morning at 9:00 in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
