Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting Monday.  On the agenda for the commission is Denise Fjerstad to discuss an ongoing alley maintenance request, and commissioners will acknowledge a drinking water certificate of achievement award and certificate of contractor and indemnity agreement for the West Center Street reconstruction project.

Commissioners Monday will also discuss a grant agreement with the FAA for apron expansion design at the Madison Airport, and an application from SDN Communications for a permit to occupy right of way.  The commission will also adopt a resolution approving a plat for lots in the Gulbranson Second Addition, and authorize the purchase of a 2020 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab and Utility box.  Commissioners also have an update on COVID-19 on their agenda for Monday’s meeting.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday.  Commissioners will meet in the commission room and virtually by using the GoToMeeting application.

During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

• Use the chat function within GoToMeeting; list your name and topic you wish to discuss – we will then call on you when we get to public comment time.
• Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday at 256-7500 option 3 or email [email protected] to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.

Normal public comment rules will be followed: no action can be taken and each person gets 3 minutes.
