Madison City Commission approves peddlers license application

The Madison City Commission has approved a peddlers license application for Midwest Distributing Incorporated of Iowa.  

Madison Police Chief Justin Meyer told commissioners that the people with the peddlers license will be going door to door in Madison for the next week selling Kirby products – homecare cleaning systems.  

Commissioner Mike Waldner said that city residents need to remember that they shouldn’t let anyone into their homes if they don’t want them there.

Waldner said that he doesn’t foresee any problems with this company, but just wanted residents to be aware.
