Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting later today (Monday). Commissioners will again meet virtually utilizing the GoToMeeting application.

On the agenda for commissioners is Denise Fjerstad to discuss an ongoing alley maintenance request, and the approval of the second reading of an ordinance allowing golf carts to be driven on city streets in Madison.

Commissioners will also authorize the Mayor to sign the final review and acceptance of KLJ/Midland Contracting for the Madison Municipal Airport Parallel Taxiway project.

Also today, commissioners will adopt a resolution for the canvass of votes of the combined municipal and school election held last week.

The Madison City Commission meeting starts at 5:30 today (Monday).

During time for public comment, you have two options to contribute:

Use the chat function within GoToMeeting; list your name and topic you wish to discuss – we will then call on you when we get to public comment time.
Reach out to our office before 5:00pm Monday at 256-7500 option 3 or email [email protected] to be added to the list to be called on during the meeting.

Normal public comment rules will be followed: no action can be taken and each person gets 3 minutes.
