The Madison Central School Board is holding its monthly meeting virtually today.  Board members will meet using Zoom technology and the meeting will be available online through YouTube.  

On the agenda for the school board is a discussion of the 2020-2021 preliminary budget and the setting of a budget hearing date.  The board will also consider an audit agreement for the 2019-2020 fiscal year, and an amendment to the Thrive contract.  School Board members are also scheduled to consider candidates for the South Dakota High School Activities Association’s Board of Directors and a constitutional amendment.

The board will also discuss personnel action during today’s meeting, including requests to hire Darlene Steffensen as the Director of Child Nutrition, and Jacob Ludemann as a High School Social Studies teacher.  

An executive session for negotiations will be held at the end of today’s school board meeting.  The Madison Central School Board meeting begins at 5:30 today.
