Madison City Commission meets Monday

The Madison City Commission holds its regular weekly meeting Monday.  Commissioners will acknowledge a retail (on-off sale) malt beverage and SD Farm Wine license application for Dakota Butcher, as well as a temporary retail (on-off-sale) malt beverage license application for Dakota Butcher for a Montgomery’s Furniture event.  They will also hold a hearing on the application for the transfer of retail alcohol licenses for El Vaquero and consider it’s approval.

Also on the agenda for the city commission Monday is a resolution amending the city’s established employee compensation for 2021, and a discussion with the Madison Fire Department regarding the Community Center’s Splash-n-Dash 5K for Multiple Sclerosis.  Commissioners will also discuss and possibly take action on approving a proposal with designArc for architectural/engineering design services for Phase-2 of the Madison Aquatic Center rehabilitation.

These items and more make up Monday’s agenda for the Madison City Commission.  The commission meets at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall and also through the use of Zoom.
