Miss Prairie Village and Prairie Princess pageant is Sunday

A number of area girls are taking part in this weekend’s Miss Prairie Village and Prairie Princess pageant.  The pageant is Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the Lawrence Welk Opera House at Prairie Village.

There are eighteen girls taking part in the Miss Prairie Princess pageant, which is open to girls ages 8 through 11.  The 2019 Miss Prairie Princess was Sophia Peterreins.  

Six young women are competing in the Miss Prairie Village pageant, which is open to teens ages fourteen to eighteen.  Competing for this year’s title are Paige Hanson of Ramona, and Olivia Meehan, Neely Salmen, Eva Sheeks, Hailey Taylor, and Emily VanLiere, all of Madison.  The 2019 Miss Prairie Village was Jensine Matson.
