Sheryl Kay Shoemaker, age 68, of Henderson, NV, formerly of Lakota and Swea City, IA, and Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at Sanford Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, MN.  Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.  A private visitation will be at the Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow in the Winfred Cemetery.
Survivors include:  her husband - Larry Shoemaker of Henderson, NV; a son - Aaron Cordes of Loveland, CO; two daughters - Michelle Malinowski of Loveland, CO; Nichole Cordes of Henderson, NV; a step-son - Leon Shoemaker of Belgrade, MT; two step-daughters - Wendy Shields of Grafton, ND and Penny Tolrude of Gary, SD; her parents - Otto and Alfa Hertzke, a brother - Jerry Hertzke, all of Lakota, IA; and two sisters - Janice Stecker of Lakota, IA and Glenda Kowe of Jackson, MN.
The Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard is in charge of the arrangements.
