Koenen says with all the changes to the store, there are still the same people working there.
Koenen says the store will continue to be a work in progress.
The first one-hundred customers in the store Thursday received a 10-dollar gift card. Before the ribbon cutting, Koenen also presented a 25-hundred dollar check on behalf of the Shopko Hometown Foundation to Madison High School. Student ambassadors for the High School received the check Thursday. Senior Amy Shan said it will help the school as a whole.
