Dakota State University in Madison is getting ready for its homecoming festivities on September 29th. 
Before the parade that morning, there will be a couple of runs – a 5-K and a Kid’s 1/2K Run, with the parade starting at 10:00 on Egan Avenue.  A homecoming tailgate party is being planned as well at Trojan Field before the DSU football game featuring the music of Kory and the Fireflies.  The tailgate starts at 1:00 p.m. on the 29th, with opening act, Amos Slade, taking the stage at 1:15 p.m. Kory and the Fireflies will take that stage around 2:00 p.m.
The tailgate is open to everyone and there will be a beer garden area for DSU alumni. 
The theme for this year’s homecoming is “Our future’s so bright, we gotta wear shades.”  A full schedule of homecoming events can be found online.  We’ll have a link to that on our website at amazingmadison.com.
