A 29-year-old Ramona man is facing a 3rd offense of driving under the influence after a one-vehicle accident in northern Lake County on Sunday evening. Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports state that around 6:15 Sunday evening, Tyler Bickett of Ramona was driving west on 224th Street near 445th Avenue when he ran off of the road into the north ditch and rolled the pick-up he was driving onto its side. The report states that Bickett was able to get the pick-up back on its wheels and back onto the roadway, where he lost control and drove the pick-up into the south ditch, disabling the vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office says Bickett was arrested for 3rd offense D-U-I and Reckless Driving, and was transported by the deputy sheriff to the Madison Community Hospital. Damage to the 1993 Ford F-150 that Bickett was driving was estimated at four-thousand dollars.
