A two-vehicle accident was reported in Madison on Friday morning. The accident happened at the intersection of Northeast 5th Street and Lee Avenue in Madison. Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports say that 20-year-old Brittany Tebbe of Madison was driving north on Lee Avenue when she stated she didn’t see the 2nd vehicle traveling east. The eastbound vehicle was driven by 22-year-old Zachary Kahler of Madison. The Sheriff’s report says Tebbe’s vehicle struck Kahler’s vehicle on the passenger side in the intersection. Tebbe’s 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix received an estimated 25-hundred dollars in damage, while Kahler’s 2003 Chevy Malibu received an estimated 45-hundred dollars in damage.
Tebbe was cited for Failure to Yield in the accident.
