Madison City Commissioners are establishing a new reserve fund for downtown improvements.  Commissioner Scott Delzer explained to commissioners last night what the purpose of the new reserve fund would be.



Finance Officer Jeff Heinemeyer said this is not a decision to actually spend the money, but to have it set aside for future consideration.  Delzer said there are no specific projects or anything in mind at this time.



Commissioner Mike Waldner said it will help things move along if need be.



City commissioners recently accepted an offer from the Lake Area Improvement Corporation to establish a downtown revitalization task force.
