The Madison City Commission meets later today.  On the agenda for commissioners is the Madison Police Department to discuss parking near the Madison Middle School, and the acknowledgement of the liability inspection report.  Commissioners will also authorize the mayor to sign an agreement with the city of Brookings for the use of its landfill, and to sign an airport grant with the F-A-A.  Commissioners will also discuss creating a downtown improvement reserve of 47-thousand dollars in the city’s general fund during their regular meeting, and will continue their budget discussions after the regular meeting is concluded.  The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
