Sioux Falls man to serve time in Lake Co Jail
A Sioux Falls man will serve time in the Lake County Jail on a felony theft charge. 25-year-old Joseph Alan Miller of Sioux Falls pleaded guilty in Lake County Circuit Court to one count of grand theft by insufficient funds checks and was sentenced Monday by Circuit Judge Tim Tucker. Tucker gave Miller a suspended execution of sentence, suspending three years in the State Penitentiary based on the conditions that he serve 60 days in the Lake County Jail, pay a five-hundred dollar fine, restitution of close to 26-hundred dollars, along with court appointed attorney’s fees of more than 600-dollars and other conditions.
