Leadership Madison program participants sought

For more than ten years, a program through the Madison Chamber of Commerce has been turning out graduates with a better understanding of their leadership potential.  Leadership Madison is taking applications now for this year’s session, which will start in September.  Kim Wermers, a Leadership Madison graduate and co-chair for the program’s planning committee, said it is a great opportunity.

Wermers said this year’s Leadership Madison program will consist of thirteen different sessions from September to Match, mainly meeting every other Tuesday morning.  She said a number of different areas will be covered during that time.

The sessions will also include group projects, book discussions on leadership, and a day in Pierre at Madison Hosts the Legislature.  Wermers encourages anyone interested in learning more about Madison or about his or her leadership potential to go through the program.

The cost of the Leadership Madison program is 250-dollars for Chamber members, and 350-dollars for non-Chamber members.  The deadline for registration for this year’s group is this Thursday, August 16th.  For more information or to register for Leadership Madison, you can contact the Madison Chamber of Commerce.
