The Madison City Commission’s regular weekly meeting is later today.  On the agenda for commissioners is the review of a letter from the Lake Area Improvement Corporation regarding a downtown improvement taskforce.  Commissioners will also discuss eliminating the fire department’s storage building reserve and creating a fire hall reserve, and acknowledge the July building permit report.  An executive session is scheduled for the end of today’s meeting, followed by a budget discussion in open session.  The Madison City Commission meeting starts at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
