Fire damaged the exterior of a home in Wentworth on Wednesday afternoon.  Wentworth Fire Chief Wayne Backus said the fire at the home at 308 South Centennial in Wentworth started on the deck and damaged the exterior of the home.  Backus said the house was vacant and the fire on the deck was spotted by someone passing by it around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon.  He estimated the damage to the home’s exterior at 12-to-15-thousand dollars.  Backus said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
