It's Miracle Treat Day today at the Madison Dairy Queen
Sue Bergheim Reporting
Today is Miracle Treat Day, and the Madison Dairy Queen is on its way to hitting its goal of 27,500 blizzards this year. The Dairy Queen opens at 10:00 and will have games, inflatables and other events on the east side of the store this evening. The band Street Legal will perform at 6:00 in the United Methodist Church parking lot, and Power Play will be on stage from 8:00 until 11:00 tonight. All of the proceeds from blizzards sold as part of the Madison Dairy Queen's Miracle Treat Day will go to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The Madison Dairy Queen has sold more than 100,000 blizzards as part of the event since 2006.
