The continued hot and dry weather is causing some area counties to either enact or consider enforcing burn bans.  Yesterday, Moody County issued a burn ban for its residents.  Miner County is holding a special meeting this morning to also consider a burn ban resolution there.  Earlier this week, Lake County Emergency Management said that a burn ban could be a possibility in Lake County as well if the dry conditions persist.
