Jamison named Madison Chamber executive director

A new executive director has been named for the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
Rosie Jamison has been hired to take over the position with the Chamber previously held by Julie Gross, who left to take over the position as Executive Director of the Lake Area Improvement Corporation.
Jamison lives on Lake Madison, and is originally from the rural Howard area.  She graduated from Dakota State University in Madison and has worked in various positions at DSU, most recently serving as the Development Officer for Scholarships and Endowments.  Jamison has also held positions with Augustana College and U-S Bank.
Jamison says that as an active member of the Madison community for more than three decades, she is anxious to put together her experience, commitment and skills to promote the community as a spokesperson for the Chamber.
Chamber Board of Directors President Donna Uthe says that the board is looking forward to a smooth transition between Interim Director Michelle Ust and Jamison.  Jamison will start as Executive Director on August 1st.
