This weekend is Railroad Days at Prairie Village.  Rides will be available both days on the Doodlebug, the train, motorcars, and the carousel.  The roundhouse will also be open for touring, and people can tour the Emmanuel Chapel Car.  The pizza train will run Saturday night , and Saturday night is the fundraising concert for the Lawrence Welk Opera House with the band “Something New” performing.  Admission for the concert is ten-dollars. 

On Sunday, the Village Church Service will be held in the Junius Church at 8:00, with a church service in the Chapel Car Emmanuel at 10:00 a.m.  Hobo Stew will be served starting at 11:00 at the Wentworth Depot, and Dakota Southeastern Division National Model Railroad Association train layout will be from 11:00 until 4:00 both Saturday and Sunday.
