After thirty years at Northern State University as a student, educator, coach and most recently Athletic Director, Coach Bob Olson is retiring.  Following the Northern men’s basketball win over Concordia, NSU celebrated the time, effort and inspiration that Olson has brought to the university with a short ceremony.   Coach Olson was asked to sum up the past thirty years…



Coach Olson went on to reflect on what his favorite part of the last thirty years has been.



After a nationwide search Northern has named Olson’s replacement. Western Illinois University associate athletic director Joshua Moon will take over NSU’s athletic department, effective late April.
