A Winter Weather Advisory is posted for much of eastern South Dakota for the day today. Jeff Chapman at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says today could be a mess of mixed precipitation.
Chapman says the band of snow is expected to be widespread.
The Winter Weather Advisory is posted until 6:00 tonight.
