Lake County Commission meets Tuesday



The Lake County Commission is holding its regular meeting tomorrow.  Appointments for commissioners will include State’s Attorney Ken Meyer at 9:05 Tuesday to discuss a Dakota State University student intern, and Equalization Director Shirley Ebsen at 9:15 to discuss the schedule for county assessment notices.  Also tomorrow, commissioners are scheduled to meet with Sheriff Roger Hartman to discuss a restraint chair at 9:30, and with Welfare Manager Peggy Young to discuss some indigent applications at 9:45.  Highway Superintendent Scott Mathison, along with a representative of Vantage Point, will meet with county commissioners at 10:00 Tuesday to discuss a buried fiber optic upgrade at the Oldham-Ramona exchange, a 2011 flood event agreement, and a striping agreement.  At 10:20 tomorrow, commissioners will discuss the county gravel pit with Dan Lemme, and at 10:30, they will meet with Emergency Management director Don Thomson to discuss the Public Assist Steering Committee and South Dakota Alert. 
These appointments and other items of discussion make up the agenda for the Lake County commission meeting tomorrow.  Commissioners meet starting at 9:00 in the commission room in the Lake County courthouse in Madison.
