Madison teen rolls vehicle near Madison

A Madison teen was not seriously injured after rolling her car just southeast of Madison Monday night.  The Lake County Sheriff’s Office says the 17-year-old’s vehicle veered off of 457th Avenue south of old Highway-34 into the east ditch and rolled three times.  The sheriff’s report says the teen was the only one in the vehicle and that she said she did not know what caused her car to leave the roadway.  The report says the last the teen remembers is that she turned north onto 457th Avenue off of Highway-34.  Witnesses say the vehicle was resting on its passenger side facing east when they came upon it.  According to the sheriff’s report, the driver of the vehicle was not injured and was not wearing a seatbelt.  The vehicle – a 1997 Plymouth Breeze – received an estimated more than seven-thousand dollars in damage.  The accident happened after 8:00 on Monday night.
