Eugene C. Fassett, 87, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Wentworth.  The family will be present for visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison.
Survivors include:  four children - Larry Fassett of Sioux Falls, Dianne Ammann of Brookings, Eileen Scherer of Sioux Falls, and Roland Fassett of Rapid City; three sisters-in-law - June Schroeder of Sioux Falls, Mavis Layton of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Betty Erickson of Sioux Falls; and special friend - Edna Ellwein.
The Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of the arrangements.
