Lorraine Emma Mette, 95, of Howard, passed away Sunday, August 14th, 2011 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell.  Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Howard, with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16th with a prayer service to be said at 7:00 p.m. at Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard.
Survivors include:  her children - Larry Mette of Britton, Janice Kuhle of Howard, Barney Mette of Howard, Sheryle Prostrollo of Mitchell, June Neises of Sioux Falls, and Doug Mette of Tea; a brother - Milton Schulz of Sioux Falls; a sister-in-law - Ardis Monroe of Canistota.
The Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard is in charge of the arrangements.
