Velma Pickering, 87, of Arlington passed away Thursday, June 30th, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Arlington.
Survivors include:  her husband - Wilfrid of Arlington; children - Keith Pickering of Balaton, MN, Joyce Pickering of Brookings, Don Pickering of Arlington, Mary Nemitz of Arlington, Deb Courteau of Phoenix, Linda McGirr of Huron, and son-in-law - Dennis Johnson of Volga.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2nd at the United Methodist Church in Arlington, with burial in the Arlington City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Friday, July 1st, 2011 at the Johnson-Henry Funeral Home in Arlington and preceding services on Saturday.
