John Ebbinga, 32, of Marshall, MN passed away Tuesday, June 28th, 2011 at Morningside Heights Nursing Home in Marshall, MN after a seven and a half year battle with West Nile Virus.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1st, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Sioux Falls.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30th from 4-7pm at Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings, with a Liturgical Wake Service starting at 7:00 p.m. 
John is survived by his father and stepmother - William and Linda Ebbinga of Griswold, IA; his siblings - Dale Ebbinga of Madison, Dean Ebbinga of Hartford, Patty Bulick of Sioux Falls, and Michael Ebbinga of Brookings; and several step-siblings.
Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings is in charge of the arrangements.
