DaVonne Christine "Davy" Collins, 74, of Mitchell, formerly of Howard, passed away on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at the Avera Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.  Funeral service is Thursday, June 23rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard, with burial in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Howard.  Visitation starts at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22nd at St. Agatha Catholic Church with a Scripture and Rosary service to be said at 7:00 p.m. 
Survivors include:  her children - Mike Collins of Flandreau, Joe Collins of Madison, Jackie Siver of Port LaVaca, TX, LeAnn Knudson of Sioux Falls, and daughter-in-law - Kris Collins of Mitchell; her mother - Katherine Johnston of Madison; sister-in-law - Gayle Collins of Idaho; and 18 foster children.
