I-29 Corridor study

An economic development study of the I-29 corridor is just getting started. The 100-thousand dollar study is being conducted by Rural Technology Strategies, Incorporated. Fundin gis provided by groups and communities along and near the interstate. Brookings is serving as the conduit for the funding. Brookings mayor Tim Reed:

He says the firm they’ve hired is very familiar with the research component.

Reed says the study could prove extremely valuable:
More than 25 towns, counties and organizations have contributed or pledged money for the study.
