The annual city-wide picnic and National Night Out event is being planned for tomorrow evening at Westside Park in Madison.  A picnic supper will be served starting at 5:00 on Tuesday evening.  There will also be children’s activities and free swimming at the Madison Aquatics Center, along with entertainment starting at 6:00 by the El Riad Steel Drum Band.  The Lake County Search and Rescue will do a demonstration after that and children’s entertainer Phil Baker will perform at around 7:00.  Phil Baker’s performance is provided through assistance from the Madison Police Department and the Madison Area Arts Council, with support from the South Dakota Arts Council, which is provided with funds from the State Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts.
