Bohl files nominating petition for Lake County Commission

The first petition has been filed for one of the three seats up for election this year on the Lake County Commission.  Dan Bohl, a republican, filed his nominating petition for re-election to the commission today (Thursday).  Bohl is one of three commissioners whose terms are up for election this year.  The others are Chris Giles and Roger Hageman.  County commissioners serve four-year terms.  Other county offices up for election this year in Lake County are county treasurer, county coroner, and state’s attorney.  Ken Meyer, a republican, filed his petition to run for re-election last week.
Petitions for all candidates seeking Republican or Democratic nominations are due by March 27th.  County petitions are filed with the Lake County Auditor’s Office.
